Также его не устраивает, что студия Mundfish не выступила с официальной позицией после начала СВО и сравнил разработку такой игры с гипотетическими немецкими разработчиками, делающими игру по Третьему рейху времен Второй мировой войны.

Atomic Heart is a Russian game choke full of Soviet symbology from devs who said nothing about their country’s war and genocide in 6 months following the invasion (not to mention 8.5 years of the war).

Make of that what you will.

Many Russian units fight in Ukraine under Soviet flags, with the goal to restore the Soviet Union.

I may be mistaken here, but, in my personal humble opinion, the existence of this project is as distasteful as a German company making a game about the Third Reich during WW2.

Every game developer knows that game projects get canceled all the time. I don’t know anyone in the industry who hasn’t worked on a canceled game. Canceling projects is very normal and frequently necessary.
